Question for American Voters.
Monday, May 5th, 2008Hey folks,
I have not been too active in my political writings lately, but have a quick question to ask all of America about our 2008 presidential election. It has to do with media slant and your own voting on a wide range of polls. See it goes down like this. Americans are saddened by the state of the war and the fact we have been deployed so long. They are sickened by the outlook for Medicare and social security, ( don’t cut cost and switch how they are run we wont have any), and dismayed by the choices in funding health care. They hate the out of control spending etc… Yet here we are, primed to elect one of two Democrats to the office of President of the United States that have contributed to all of those problems with one exception. Barrack O’Bama didn’t vote to go to war, voted against spending the money to properly equip our soldiers ( higher death tolls make good political fodder when you want to be President) and has this pastor and friend for 20 years he claims, (tongue in cheek on that one) he did not know was anti American. Give me a break Barrack, your a lying sad sack and have over played your race card at this early stage.
The other prospect is Hillary Clinton who voted for the war, and a couple times for the spending then when she decided to run started changing he support and opinion. She has added so much pork to bills she never sponsored to be a hero in any recipients mind, yet stands firm against putting your money back in your hands and shrinking government, or for that matter controlling spending in any manner. Yet she gets votes despite being caught to date in more lies than that lying hack of a husband, because she promises to provide better Health Care.
Excuse me, Hillary? Didn’t you have 7 of your husbands 8 years, with both your hubby as Presdident and some congressional support to at least put a bill up to offer? Wow no bill it was sandbagged for your move to New York and your march for the White House. Yet still, despite another promise from you there is still no detailed plan, and you have not brought it to the Democrat congress. Seems like you don’t actually have one or worse, you are blackmailing us for our votes.
Either way we don’t know where either of them really stand as their monologue changes depending on the crowd they are speaking to. O’Bama speaks to Black voters saying rise up against the machine that kept you down while flopping to condemn Reverend Wright for racist and Anti American remarks. He speaks to white voters about unity and to black voters about repression and making a stand. It’s our time is the chant to one crowd, and he doesn’t get called on the flops near as often as he makes them by the press.
Hillary, can’t even get the facts straight on stories she has told a hundred times with years of practice. How about the I love New York move to secure the state with the largest Democrat population so she could get on paper experience and an easy win in that state for the general election. Always been a New Yorker by heart? Why didn’t you move there before it was politically correct? Hogwash.
The polls show as the media touts in bold and shouting that President Bush has a job approval rating of just 29-33% depending on the day of the week. They totally miss the fact that your poll responses my fellow Americans is only 24-28% on average for Congress as a whole. Folks that’s the Democrats you are looking at voting for, the job they have done has you more unhappy with them than you are with George W. Bush,, yet here we are!!! Poll stats are courtesy of Real Clear Politics and offer an average of all polls not a single polling source.
So now for my question:
If you dislike Congress, (house and senate) so much and rate them less than Bush, why are we looking at a virtual tie in the polls when the very things you are mad about are the things they caused and control every day?
All are guilty. Add the lies and give credit to the one candidate that has stayed the course and fought the fight even when America was against him, ( he proved us all wrong) and comes down in the audience, to speak with us on our level. The one candidate that even if unpopular speaks his mind, and tells us his story. The one Proud American that fought the battles, has sons in the war, and knows how to get our troops home safe with a mission accomplished and the respect of the world returned to our great nation.
Don’t have to say a name here as he already one his parties nomination and the respect of millions like me. Proud Americans sick of the lies, ready for a straight shooter with the wisdom to know when to say, hey, no one man knows it all, we all will have aides that will do the hard work.
By the way: The President while having the power to veto bills has no vote in Congress. The President makes policy and suggest bills that require approval of Congress to be put before the President for signature or veto. Keep that in mind. No Presidential candidates promises are a guarantee of action and even Bush was merely the spokes person for the articles of War passed by Democrats and republicans alike. He asked for action they wrote the bill and passed it.
Your choice is clearer than you think, drop the media and get the facts:
