History will be made in 2008 Elcetions.

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Flip a coin, and crunch the numbers but regardless of outcome history will be made and the landscape of politics will surely change in 2008. Perhaps for the better of all.

Ladies get ready to learn to love and Amazing woman that has captured the heart of all of Alaska and soon America as a nation. Sara Palin, Governor of Alaska is a party reformer and Vice President candidate running with John McCain. On one hand we stand to have the first ever African American President, on the other hand we have a renewed hope among women voters to push one of their own to one of the top two spots in American politics.

The choice of Palin as Vice President is a bold leap for any Republican. With John McCain, this bodes well as he has chosen another pro change moderate to right Republican that has show she too has the fortitude to bulk the party in the name of positive change and forward progress. She has proven through results that a Republicans can work with Democrats to make history and solve real issues much as McCain has done in the senate. She is a candidate that enforces the  differences between McCain and Bush, She enforces the ideals that McCain has often shared that the answers to our nations problems lies not on the extreme right or far left but somewhere in the middle ground.

The ideal of the Obama/Biden ticket being the ticket of change and progress is shot out of the water. They are touting a change of policy from right to left, but McCain/Palin promises not only a change of policy but a change in the very way Washington works. In the McCain vision as is apparent with works such as McCain-Feingold and famous working relationships with influential people like Joe Liberman congress lays down party politics and works in unity for progress. Both McCain and Palin have a history of making just such vison work for America.

Don’t change from one party line to the next is the real clear message here. Change the way we do business entirely. Let’s get Congress back to work and working for America. Now for the first time  since Ronald Regan the Republican Party can be seen as the party of change, the party of progress and all notions of the RNC being White Elderly Men only is shattered.

Not only does Palin stand to be the first female Vice President, but given McCain’s age (72 today) as many will point out on the left she could very well see days as the Commander in Chief. On the left they will argue experience versus Joe Biden, but Joe stands little chance of ever serving a day as President due to the age of Obama. In the Experience category she destroys Obama having not only run an entire sate, as one of the most loved Governors in America, she has done it with great success, and with more positive effect. She has written policy and law, she has handled crucial calls such as a campaign to end the Bridge to Nowhere. She unlike Barack Obama has proven that she is ready to lead.

The Republican party is changing every day. They are becoming more inclusive and reaching out to soccer moms and minorities in record numbers. They are embracing the middle which is mainstream America, those with a balance between social reform and Christian values, who believe Abortion is wrong, but think we should strengthen Social Security and protect it’s stability for our aging while still planning vital reform to how the young people of today look towards retirement.

She becomes the Teflon Veep, much like Hillary Clinton in the early goings of the primaries attacks from Biden and Obama on her will appear to many as the millionaire boys club picking on mom. The campaign will have to be about the issues instead of about her and what can you really say against her any how?

Sarah Palin is the mother of a Down Syndrome child, she is also the mother of a soldier serving in Iraq, as McCain is the father of a proud American soldier. She knows and can relate to the fears of a country and while she could fall back on all the challenges in her life and sit back and do nothing she has forged forward to establish herself as a very influential Governor.

The landscape of change and American Politics in it’s entirety is on our doorstep, today is truly a proud day in American history, as we have an opportunity to not just change the ways of the last 8 years but the way business is done in Washington for the good of all Americans.

Oh Lord it’s hard to be humble. Obama speech fallout.

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Lord it’s hard to be humble… when you’re perfect in every way..

So the song and dance goes on with little to report today other than John McCain will be releasing the name of his running mate in the next 24-48 hours.

I started this message off with a song as that’s the song and dance played out with the Obama speech today. Barrack was so humbled and honored to be crowned the crown price of the fools tribe today. So humble he needed a football stadium and a Greek podium that rises out of it’s base to put him closer to the heavens so maybe if you were there he may look like a gift from God. OMG!!!! Come down to earth Mr.O..

See for all the pomp and arrogance of the night, Mr. O put forward a message of hope, hope McCain gets elected as the plans laid out are down right scary for anyone not on a welfare line. Corporations may crumble, more of our enemies will get more Big Foreign Oil money, and our dollar will continue it’s decline without a War to blame it on, still the fools cheered like it was a gift from the heavens and his words the Ten Commandments or something.

Obama made a fatal mistake though in tonight’s address. He made it clear he is running against Bush and not John McCain, the two are not the same and the record proves it. John is proudly independent from George W. Bush and has opposed him on more issues than many Democrat elite. Remember this is a man with no vote in Congress so anything done in his two terms was voted and passed by Democrats. No wonders their job approval rating is half that of GW’s.

Here is what it does for the McCain campaign.

First off all John has to do to make Obama / Biden into Biden Obama Goodbye is simply show off the record of the number of times he stood up to the President and voted in opposition. This in turn exposes yet another lie from a man quickly getting a reputation as being bigger in that department than a little wooden boy with a big nose we all know. This time the strings are held by the DNC and the boy wants to rule the world.

The other flaw in this make it about Bush mindset is that this mentality makes McCain an Incumbent.

With the exception of the first George Bush, (and the only Clinton is now out of the race), Incumbents even GW are harder to beat. Incumbents have the experience factor, John McCain has the experience factor. Incumbents have a track record of good things accomplished to offset the bad, John has only a few bad things while in office and a 7th fleet of good to offset them. So how they think making him an Incumbent is going to help them I am still trying to figure that one out.

See America knows who the President is, and despite many loathing the War in Iraq, there is still enough support for him that in a heavy Democrat favoring tracking poll, his approval rating is still twice that of those DNC Senators and Reps. in Congress. Even if Bush were on the ticket those numbers speak for themselves when there are nearly 4 thousand more Democrats in the group that is being polled each week. That means people like Barrack are not winning their base and an Incumbent Bush would stand a great chance of getting a 3rd term based on these numbers that are near the same levels as they were in the 2004 election.

See the people want issues and thanks to all the college funds and corporate training more educated people in America are able to crunch the numbers at home. With the Economy being the biggest issue on the ticket, most Americans can see a better plan coming out of the McCain camp. While the DNC touts it’s numbers and gains in Congress, it is easy to win one district at a time, especially when many of those areas were simply no viable candidate opposing them and the Incumbent stepping down, dying, or at the bleak time going to jail. Now it is the DNC with more indicted criminals, and many of their still in good faith showing guys like those Obama Chicago thugs and mobsters in their pockets.

What will hurt them most in this election is when Americans look back over the past four years and say wow, the DNC Congress fought and bickered, was divided more than together on issues, went on vacation more often then they held a vote or session, and thought they should take over as Baseball commissioner. Beyond that how little did they accomplish? Where were these sweeping reforms promised, where was the opposition to Bush? Maybe they said it to reporters but the vote’s don’t reflect it.

Congress has done nothing good or bad for the last four years because they have done nothing in the last 4 years, waiting for Barrack or Hillary who were also among those doing nothing. At least John McCain brought important legislation to the floor, even if it was not always good legislation, or damned by a DNC majority just for being a Republican idea, he still was in there and fought to solve issues. He showed he can work with the Democrats and got hammered from both sides, yet the DNC signs Amazing Grace when Barrack says despite having been their yes man for less than 2 years that he can do this too.

I guess not having much to say in Denver just stokes the fires at home. Still if they wish to make John an Incumbent I say Re-Elect John McCain.

How safe is your job? Economy concerns.

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

How safe is your job? Will it be here tomorrow, 2 years from now, 5 years from now? How much will the election play into job security over the next few years?

These are questions in the heads of many blue collar and white collar workers, and also in the minds of employers who will face tough choices and be blamed for the outcome should a Rubber Stamp be added to the legislation discussed in this powerful article from Dick Armey posted on Real Clear Politics.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/08/the_four_horsemen_of_economic.html

Despite the effects of lower taxes on bolstering the economy through the Regan years and most of Bill Clinton’s two terms, to stifle economic growth and increase funding for government programs the Clinton Administration went back on early statements crediting Reaganomics with the success the country was seeing and set into place record tax increases. Many of us believe these increases and the now slowed economy lead directly to the first recession under President Bush.

When taxes are raised on business gains it cuts profits that would normally be aimed at growth and expansion. The saying goes that the rich get richer, and that is because they constantly expand and grow their businesses which creates jobs.

By taking money from them in the form of taxation, less money becomes available for growth so the jobless rate rises because of more people entering the workforce while businesses are creating fewer new jobs. The rich get blamed and it’s the politicians fault.

When more taxes are put on Income, the American worker has less to spend, this reduces demand and ultimately the level of profits businesses see, further reducing growth and leading to an even higher jobless rate as some industries even have to cut jobs to stay in business. Add to that Union labor and threats of strike and the cost of each employee becomes so great that more jobs are either cut or outsourced overseas.

Meanwhile Americans with less take home pay have little choice but to opt out of employer sponsored health insurance, retirement programs like 401K, etc.. Those still holding their 401K that were contributing 10% or more may find themselves cutting back to 5-8% to have added cash for paying bills. Meanwhile they are borrowing money that bridges gaps and getting further in debt. Many find themselves seeking government programs to pay for medical needs like prescriptions or the birth of a child.

As this happens we become more dependent on government aid as a society and once started on this path it can be tough finding our way back to to paying our own way. So along comes a plan to increase those benefits and make them available to more Americans and it sounds so good. Programs like Government run health care sound awesome until we get the bill, even more taxes and fewer jobs resulting from what has become a assumed necessity.

I give you the fallout from a Obama victory and a DNC roll out of  a new economic policy that is as they say, not 4 more years. but many worse years to come. How safe is your job? Not very safe at all. Economics 101 will show you that these conditions and campaign promises have always resulted in the same outcome, and were directly responsible for the highest jobless rates in our nations history.

The alternative is lower taxes across the board, with a focus on taxing consumption over income. Americans keep more and spend more, and companies profit and expand. More jobs are created and we eventually will see a point where because of high demand companies will have to offer better benefits and higher wages to attract workers from a small base of candidates for employement. It is a longer road to recovery but has never failed us, and the effects last decades not months.

See even a minimum wage increase is short lived, the cost to produce goes up and is passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices. Since a US pay raise does not effect foreign competitors, we will find ourselves buying even more low priced foreign goods. Again jobs are lost and the cost of living rises to meet our new higher paycheck.

You are the one that controls your future, if higher taxes and a life of welfare and government controls is your cup of tea we can hand America over to the DNC and Barrack Obama. If we choose job growth and keeping more of our hard earned dollar we may find less of a government run safety net, but a stronger future for all. Your job will be more secure and Reganomics can reign supreme again. The one candidate that supports a return to these days of success and has the track record of successfully passing legislation of this nature is John McCain.

Consider job security when you go to the polls this November.

Foot Note:
With all of the coverage of Mafia ties leading to the DNC and more directly the Obama campaign with now two donors and over half a million in question, the media has come under fire for fair reporting.  From the reporter attacked this past week for exposing media bias towards the Obama campaign, to today’s breaking news.

In Denver this morning a ABC News crew was arrested for taking photos of DNC donors meeting in secret at a Denver area hotel. These low key donations are from the type of donors who don’t want their contributions publicized. From the lobbyist to unions, and even I am sure a few crooks and cronies these folks will stop at no cost to remain behind the scenes of the Democratic Party.

Freedom of the press was set back more than 200 years today as the mission to expose the truth behind a record breaking fund raising machine powering Obama’s run for the Oval Office was stamped out by the Denver PD. More on this story as more facts become available.

Do you know the real Barrack Obama?

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Breaking news:

Barrack Obama’s championship for the poor does not extend very close to the very blood that pumps through his veins. In a news story uncovered by Italian Vanity Fair it would seem that Barrack has a 26 year old half brother who lives in the slums outside Nirobi Kenya on less than a dollar a month.

Read Story : http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/08/the_inconvenient_obama.html

In addition the last few days financial reports have come into play where by Obama’s own records he and his wife have donated only around 7% of their multimillion dollar earnings to charity over the past 4 years where John and Cindy McCain have donated on average 25% of their earnings with a high last year of around 27% of all income to causes that directly assist the low income. Seems his charity only extends when it is tax payer dollars going to help the people and not his personal wealth.

Over the past couple weeks the Obama campaign has been targeting a Politico report where during an interview John McCain could not recall the number of total houses the McCain family owns. The head of Politico on Fox News this week admitted that it was not an easy task even for them to find out the number because many of the houses were owned by companies that the McCain’s have a stake in and not directly by John and Cindy. Still you have to wonder why this was even a question as everyone knows John and Cindy McCain have a great deal of wealth.

So then there is the portrait painted of John and Cindy as rich white people, the enemy of his poor people party, that does not mention that most Democrats are rich white people having been mostly Lawyers and Doctors, etc.. Praying on poor people for income most of their lives. Ever been in an accident and had lawyers leap from the woods offering to take the case for free then netting 50% of the claim plus legal cost so that in the end, even if you win they get more than the victim, these are the very same lawyers running for Congress and the White House.

By the way, Barrack made over 4 million last year and owns a mansion that was bought in part by a mobster now sitting in prison. Yep that’s Mr. O the people’s champion, dirty Chicago politics, flip flop votes, and not one bill he has authored to help minorities. Sponsored and supported are different stories, anyone can sponsor or vote for something but can he write legislation?

Barrack paints a picture of combat against a rich white America that cares nothing about the poor, doesn’t give to charity, and makes dirty deals behind the scene. He touts his being the first African American or Minority with a chance at being President, yet he is only half Black and the white half seems to be an echo to his portrait of a rich white America. He plays the race card at the drop of a hat to defend against harsh news and facts that hurt his campaign, using it to try and blind minority voters thinking he really relates to you.

How does he relate, well he grew up in high dollar Hawaii and moved to Chicago where he practiced Law and Politics, made millions off the poor then moved on to Washington. Does this sound like your life, or anything you can relate to? It don’t even relate to my life as a poor white boy struggling to reach up to middle class, not there yet, and may not be in my lifetime. He is supposed to be my champion but offers more of a problem than the Republicans do. See they want to offer training for a better job, he wants to just pay my bills with money he steals from my paycheck.

How about making a law against companies treating me like a criminal because one of those insurance companies that has donated so much to his campaigns stiffed me on $8,000 in medical bills and destroyed my credit. Thanks to his core financial supporters, doctors, lawyers, and insurance companies I have been blackballed out of my career in management for 4 years and now struggle to make ends meet.

How about my golden years, where is a plan to insure I get to retire without hurting my today. Social Security will not be around 40 years from now even if they raise taxes to the point to meet today’s needs. We are paying for the people that have retired already and those who retire in the next 10 years, but not putting in a dime to secure our own retirement.

The DNC wants to raise taxes to pay for Social Security, and will not consider that a personal retirement account is better because some will still retire better than others. All they need to do is a cap and equalization plan where those adding more than 20K per year to a set percentage personal retirement account are taxed 25% of the amount over $20,000.00 a year paid into the fund and use that money to boost the retirement accounts of the low income.

Regardless this money earns interest and dividends that can not be touched by Congress and taken away from you to pay for other people to retire on. It can not be stolen to pay for other projects and pork in Washington which has happened in the past and is one of the main causes for there not being enough money in Social Security. The Democrats count on us poor people being dumb, not knowing the facts, and being afraid of change.

It’s like the debate on the fair tax system where we stop collecting income tax and instead have a national sales tax or distribution tax collected on goods that are purchased. The DNC says that people will buy less with more money but if you had more money wouldn’t it pay off debts, pay the bills, buy food, clothes, and other consumables? Their defense is cars, if you buy a new car it is taxed once and when you sell it used no tax is paid on it. They say you will stop buying new cars to avoid taxes. Heck if a new car is going to save me thousands in gas and I can afford to get one because I now have more of my paycheck to spend, I will get the new car with no engine troubles and high miles that is good on gas. Wouldn’t you? Again they forget that TVs wear out, food gets eaten, clothes get holes, and dollars get spent by the billions on those types of items.

The average dollar tracked on www.wheresgeorge.com gets spent 5-10 times in a year with an average of 8 and that is just the ones reported. It doesn’t count all those unreported times that can move the same dollar from New york to San Francisco in a few months time. Add a nickle each time it is spent and we would all pay a fair tax that generates more than the current theft of 35% of your money before you get to spend it. They count on fear of change and keep you dependent on the Government for Health Care, Welfare, and Social Security etc..

Again the same people who benefit from this mess are the Obama baking lawyers, doctors, and insurance companies. Ask yourself a few questions before going to the polls. How well do I know Barrack Obama? How much has he done for people like me? Who benefits if he wins, is it my employer or my Lawyer? Can I afford more taxes? Can I afford to retire without Social Security? Can we afford to have government funded health care before Social Security is fixed? Does he have the plans to do it? Where are those plans? Does he have the strength to break party lines and go against the DNC to make them happen? Will he be a puppet to folks like Ted Kennedy? Can he be a leader? Does he have the experience? Is he able to be trusted after Reznik, Wright, and Ayers? I say no to all but it is up to you to decide.

Making a dream come true for boy with cancer.

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

This is a major world wide humanitarian mission. There is no donation asked for or linked to and the effort takes only a minute. If you have a MySpace account or even if you are just willing to create one for this one cause, this is a must do to brighten your day and put a smile on the face of a kid we may never really know with a heart as big as the world.

This is the message I have sent out to my friends on MySpace and posted in the forums there.

Hey folks,

I have learned of a brave young man with Childhood Lukemia who has one wish. He wants to be the most popular kid on MySpace with over 1 million friends, so please do the following.

Add this amazing little man and then send the link to all your contacts.

If the rest of your day is spent on video games, make up, or sitting in front of some stripper wishing you had one more dollar bill, the day will not be a total loss if you help this kid get one friend closer to living a dream.

Please folks, this is urgent, don’t say later, don’t say maybe, make it happen.

Were economic stimulous packages a success?

Monday, August 11th, 2008

Stimulus packages are short term fixes that have achieved results, but are not long term. As long as 35% of all income is drawn into the federal government before we get a chance to spend that money we will continue to lose.
Many voices on sites like MySpace.com have stepped forward trying to downplay the effects of the economic stimulus packages Americans like you and me received this summer. There are folks saying they spent $900 on foreign made junk sending the dollars overseas or they paid a few bills they were behind on and the dollar stopped there. Heck, one guy even claimed that despite the fact he bought down 3 debts to the point that they will be paid off this month saving him $500 a month that the stimulus package did nothing to help him. Wow get a grip.

Take into account the last guy, the 5th poster on this page.

If in fact he applied the money to 3 debts and is now in position to pay them off faster, he has save interest and penalties, and positioned himself to be $500 a month richer thanks to money he did not have prior to the stimulus packages being released. Others talking about the foreign goods they bought forget it takes a store full of employees, several warehouses, U.S. shipping ports, Tarrifs, Legal teams, and banks on US ground to get those products to the point you can buy them. Fact is that pennies on the dollar actually make it to foreign soil. Worse yet, many of those products are no longer made here thanks to high cost of labor, ( thank the unions) and difficult laws and taxation that make doing business in places like China and India more appealing to business owners. Still many Americans got paid because Congress and the President took action.

Still these effects are short term fixes. Once the checks are all spent there is nothing to look forward to in the future and business as usual resumes. Changing tax laws and lowering taxes across the board though achieves a far greater benefit as it is one businesses and investors can count on for years to come, making expansion and local  manufacture more appealing. See some examples of solid economics and how they could turn our economy around below.

The debate over abolishing income tax in favor of a national sales tax has been sidetracked by lies and bad figures. following a dollar on www.wheresgeorge.com will show you that the average dollar is spent not less than 8-12 times in the course of a year. Putting more dollars into the economy and letting people spend them would only require a modest federal sales tax.

The average state tax on sales is around 5%, if you add up the sales tax revenues of all states and then add an additional 35% to the total dollars in the system, you will see a closer number to the potential a 5% sales tax could be bringing in. The numbers amount to far more than the current tax system and the plan would help Americans at all levels of income.

Turning the economy around requires curbing waste spending, and reducing federal government turning many agencies into funneling bodies for cash. We can curb cost and create jobs by putting more dollars into the system permanently where they can be invested on expansion and business creation. I know if I had those few dollars extra coming in that go to taxes, my family would live better and want for less. Being able to provide a better life for my family puts those dollars to work for all of us.

People are scared of change and look for ways we could fail, they often ignore ways to succeed because the change is so different from what they know. From personal retirement accounts to 401K plans we could all be seeing a more secure future, but most opt for federal guaranteed social security etc.. that has been tapped into and under funded for so long it may run out before we reach the now late 60s early 70s needed to even qualify.

A good plan for individual retirement would require that the upper income ladder contribute a portion of their personal savings to a economic equalization plan. Sort of like a tax on large savings accounts that could be spread among those who are on the low end of the earnings scale. Using accounts like 401K shored up with a mix of bonds on a set percentage could see enormous growth while providing stability. People able to add 30-60 thousand a year to a retirement account paying 5-10% of that money into equalization funds would help those of us who fall short on earnings and contribution.

The best part about either of these two plans is that we decide where our money is best spent and not some federal official.

Defending our rights as Americans.

Monday, August 11th, 2008

How far from the Constitution must we get before we step up and defend it from our appointed and elected officials? When will we act in our own defense?

With a Supreme Court with elitist attitudes and an almost God like set of powers the meaning of the Constitution and the powers it gives has become no more than opinion. The Court itself rules without fact on issues like abortion where a beating heart and functioning brain is known to most to mean life, they say it is not life until you can see it and condone murder as Constitutional. They give rights under the Constitution to foreign citizens even on foreign soil, and believe they have the power to go against the Constitution and overturn laws passed by a 2/3 majority of voters in a state.

Until we band together and pass a Constitutional amendment allowing for the removal of Supreme Court justices who fail to uphold and defend it’s integrity we can expect no less than what has become the norm in Washington to apply un-checked to politicians as well as the courts.

I stand firm in my belief that no agency that polices the people should police themselves and that includes the highest court in the land. We have created gods among men and must undo it through the vote of the people. Problem is the Supreme court will rule it as un-constitutional.

We do have some good in Washington, but as is the rule of the day they must often compromise their core values in order to garner support for issues of greater value. As long as the game is black mail and hand washing our only method of stopping it is through the power of voter referendums and laws we pass through signature petition, but so few will step up and stand out on a cold day or hot summer morning collecting signatures to make things happen. Instead we turn to forums like this to gripe and moan about what we ourselves are not doing.

The right of the people to propose and pass into law by referendum and popular vote still exist but is seldom used on a national level. Why are we not pro-active and yet expect others to be?
