Should we be sending 50 Billion to the U.N. for Poverty?

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

Barrack Obama and Joe Biden have pledged to send 50 billion dollars off to the United Nations for a global anti poverty project. This would double our contribution and they have stated that America is too rich. Wish I felt too rich and didn’t see all this poverty around me right here at home. It brings about the question of should we be spending billions to address poverty in other countries before it is ended right here at home?

Fact: The U.N.  has a bad track record with dispensing foreign aid. Many of the target economies in places like Somalia, and Kenya, the monies sent, food and goods have often been snagged by Warlords or the governments and never reach the people the aid was sent for. Fox News, CNN, ABC, and NBC have all done stories on this over the past few years and none of them offered a ray of hope in this change the world message.

To me this reeks of another One World Government program that requires pumping even more money into a failed system that was never really designed to help anyone, but is really just a political ploy to show humanitarians that politicians are trying to do something good for the people. It also is a bad foreign policy that is at best a means of penalizing America for being a financial leader in the world.

Much like the battle at home between the rich and the poor, this is a global jealousy. Other nations see what America has and want a hand out instead of going out and getting theirs. It’s a global welfare or wealth redistribution program to raise other nations up to our level. I don’t agree with that policy, as the same money could be put into paying down our federal deficit, put into business loans to create jobs and boost the economy, and more right here at home to help our weakened dollar. Instead this World Wealth Redistribution brings the economies up in other countries and further weakens the US dollar.

Call it world wide jealousy. America has earned it’s way to a place among the top countries in economic realms and is a leader that should be followed by example. Even our bad times are better than most nations good times. For some like Obama and Biden it causes a guilt feeling and you should never feel guilty about a job well done. The United Nations supports these programs because many of the countries that are members are on the receive money list. America being brought down to their level is good for them but not so good for us.

It’s continued bad economic policy and foreign policy that does American’s harm.

From an ideal that raising taxes on anyone earning over 200,000 will do anything but raise the cost of living and cut jobs, forcing more outsourcing. To a energy plan that embraces more foreign oil and energy supplies over domestic drilling and development. The result from the Obama plan could be devastating to Americans as more US dollars go overseas and our deficit grows with even less resources at home to defend against it. It is Naive at best to think you can raise any cost on doing business here without business owners raising prices and cutting cost to absorb the added taxes and not hurt their own financial goals. If a person has become accustom to living on a million a year and higher taxes means cutting back or raising prices, they will protect their lifestyle and raise prices. It has always and will always be that way.

Carter learned it the hard way, Clinton learned it the hard way, and it seems Obama will have to harm the the US economy even further to learn it the hard way himself.

Economics 101 in a format anyone can understand.

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Love this video on the economy and the effect of higher taxes. Economics 101 is not needed to see the reality behind this message and it strengthens the discussion we had the other day on the economy, while showing the falsehood behind the economic fantasy coming out of the DNC and the Campaign to Elect Obama and Joe Biden.  We are in enough of a economic mess without adding in some big government backwards economics. Want to bankrupt America, then don’t watch this well presented video before the election.

What is the Born Alive Infant Protection Act?

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Hey folks,

Again another important must view video. This one is not for the weak of stomach and will tear your heart out, but it didn’t have that effect on Barrack Obama, he voted against this legislation 3 times in the Illinois State Senate. This video is compelling and leaves you to wonder is this the type person that should be President of the United States of America.

Please watch the following video and post comments, or share it with friends and family.

The real choice on health care.

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

There are two plans for dealing with health care in this nation one works the other is flawed and expresses another loss of freedom in America.

The Obama plan for a Government health care program puts higher taxes to work with the government stepping in and choosing providers, choosing options, and limiting free enterprize while doing nothing about the prime cause of the extreem cost. The main reason behind higher cost in the medical industry is the number of frivolous lawsuits, and high jury awards against doctors in malpractice suits. It drives up the cost of malpractice insurance and that is reflected on you hospital and doctors bills. Yet his plan addresses no change in limits on rewards, or legislation to lessen the number of frivolous suits. It does however put the federal government paying the bill, or does it? See to pay for health care taxes must be raised, and even if it’s on the rich, the rich will increase cost of goods to offset the high taxes and it trickles down to all of us.

The McCain plan is to offer tax incentives to businesses that offer group policies, and to Americans that get health insurance either through work or on their own to help us pay the bill with out own money. We choose the companies and providers not someone in Washington. It also addresses a reduction in jury awards, and closing of loopholes that would limit frivolous lawsuits. These measures will reduce medical bills and make coverage more affordable. Because this plan allow freedom of choice more insurance companies stand to be in competition for your health care dollar, and competition brings about lower rates.

This has been shown to work by the example in other industries such as utilities where deregulation increases competition and one time utility giants have had to share resources and offer lower fees taking smaller profit margins to pass a competitive rate on to the consumer. By lowering the cost of the health care industry and the burdens of huge awards and wrongful litigation, companies will see huge savings to pass on to the American consumer, a bit of bargaining room to offer lower rates as competition soars in the industry.

Your choice is simply to pay less on your own and maintain your freedom of choice or to pay more in taxes and on everything from toothpaste to gasoline to have the Government tell you which hospitals and doctors you can use by limiting your choice of policies to those a crooked politician has selected. See if the government runs health care like anything else they run they will hand out a limited number of contracts to providers. All too often, as with the defense contracts congress has accepted bribes and donations and America has not gotten the best deal for their dollar.  The number of politicians sitting in jail for accepting bribes proves that when industry is limited to a handful of companies getting your dollar, companies will use most any means to get one of the contracts and somewhere, someplace there is a politician looking for a handout that will help them achieve their goals.

Obama’s health care plan is wrong for the American Tax Payer.

Response to world outcry for Obama.

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

In the last 24-48 there has been a buzz as a new poll taken in other countries around the world shows a 48-12 favoring for Barack Obama as our next president with 40% of respondents showing no favor or no opinion . The claims are that the would is ready for Barack Obama and that if he is not elected world wide relations could be harmed.

This article is an example of the stories popping up in world media. Click here to visit the UK Guardian.

There are a few things at play here though behind the scenes. Many of the countries in which the polls were run have strong ties with our enemies. Many of them tend to lean more to the left on government programs such as government run health care. Most of these countries are ones that suffered at the hands of white males through British rule for decades and have large populations of non whites who favor Barack Obama simply because of a perception that the American people are a bunch of racist white bigots.

Another factor is that a majority of the countries where the poll took place also have opposed the War on Terror or at least the war in Iraq, never sending troops or aid. These are mostly countries that stand to benefit should Baracks economic policy of tax them back to health follow the predictions of economist and put us further in the hole weakening the US dollar further. Many are also nations that export oil to the US and stand to benefit if domestic production is not increased, as our export of US dollar to them is the prime cause of our deficit.

Since when did foreign interest have a say in our American Presidency anyhow?

John McCain has some additional knocks in these nations as a majority of these respondent nations are still far behind on women’s rights. In some of these countries McCain has lost favor because he has chosen a woman for VP. The fact these nations were even polled is a result of the fact Obama is now lagging in our own US polls. As the article above also state, even though a large group of Americans have supported African American candidates in the polls, the actual voter turnout has been dismal to say the least in minority communities. The global fear is in history repeating itself and up to a 3rd of those saying I will vote for Obama will not show up at the polls.

Let’s look at policies that favor foreign interest to see where the largest support from overseas nations comes from.

Barack’s Energy policy is one that focuses on research for alternative fuels with no increase on drilling, or CNG. It favors the high prices on gas and oil as a scare tactic to get more Americans behind research and willing to pay more in taxes to get eventual relief that could be years to come. In the meantime we continue to send hundreds of billions of US doallrs to oil rich nations, some of which sponsor terrorism or harbor anti-American views.

John McCain promises immediate exploration and drilling, and support for CNG and bio fuels distribution to make us more independent from foreign oil and provide immediate relief at the pumps. This cuts off hundreds of billions of dollars that are being sent overseas and creates US jobs. McCain winning the election could hurt those nations financially and strengthen our dollar. McCain’s plan also funds research into alternative fuels but almost from day one will start weening us from foreign energy.

Import/Export relations. Barack Obama takes huge amounts of Union funds and donations and has all but promised the passage of a bill that will make it easier for Unions to set up shop in businesses around the nation. As this happens with no lessening of imports and an actual expansion of trading nations companies in the US will be forced to send even more jobs overseas via outsourcing to remain competitive.

Many of these nations in the poll such as India stand to gain heavily as the exodus of American jobs to foreign nationals continues. Countries such as Japan, China, and Korea stand to profit off a wider gap between the US cost to produce goods and their own low labor cost. Again, more dollars leak from the US economy into the hands of foreign interest.

The McCain plan calls for a lesser role by unions, more protection against high cost for businesses, tax incentives to hire US laborers, and tax breaks to lower the cost and penalties for doing business on US soil. It increases exports while balancing through tariffs the price of imports. This spells huge gains in jobs, and export trade and a boost to our GDP or gross domestic product. If more products are made here and the cost of selling goods on US shelves is higher then these same countries will see less demand for their products. As we begin buying American made goods again because the priceing gap is removed, these countries will lose jobs and income and another patch will be put in the deficit leak.

Many of the nations in the poll have at least some dealings with counties like Korea, and Iran even if they are through other governments that deal directly with them. They receive goods at lower cost or oil and energy resources. As the US continues to fight nuclear proliferation in these nations their exports are often limited or threatened. Obama is perceived as less apt to engage these enemy nations with military force, so they benefit from not risking their supplies being cut off if these countries do not abandon the quest for nuclear weapons.

So I ask again, what does America stand to gain by letting these countries have a say in our political process? Fact is a stronger and more independent America spells less import trade, less foreign oil purchasing, and fewer US dollars spent in other nations. It cuts off the incentive to outsource American jobs, and causes financial issues in many of these nations that depend on us. But the end result is a lower deficit and less dependence on foreign goods, oil included. What is good for America is seen as bad for the world wide economy.

They would love for us to elect a man that say change but provides plans that are business as usual. They would hate for us to elect John McCain, who’s promised changes, a type he has shown a track record of supporting for decades, and would cut them off from US dollars and create more jobs on US soil. A strong America is the enemy of the world economy as we are it’s largest victim and our deficit proves it.

A Party of division and excuses. Part 1

Monday, September 8th, 2008

We are going to start hard targeting the mindset of the DNC and it’s message to America, and analyze a party know to be champions of the people, the hero of the working class and for those in a bad way in life. The supposed champions of change and party of the poor.

We start with a look at policy that holds you back instead of pushing you forward. A revolving door of ideals that sound great in speeches, like equalization and wealth redistribution. Issues like welfare and affirmative action. This talk could get rough as we will open the comments to both the left and the right as I feel the left will have little in defense of my claims.

1. Redistribution of wealth- From support of labor unions to higher taxes on the rich the DNC pledges a Robin Hood dream of steal from those who have and give to those who have not. The ramifications have been to create systems that have many standing in welfare lines for a check not earned by work, and blaming the rich for them being poor. For many though they fought hard and didn’t take hand outs and didn’t blame challenges like poor education etc.. for their lives. Instead they started humble, with borrowed money of a sales kit from companies like Kirby Vaccumes selling door to door.

Ray Croc started out as a salesman for multi mixers, selling these things to restaurants and the likes when he stumbled upon the McDonald’s Brothers restaurant. He put a big stake on the line in the American dream and bought that tiny hamburger stand that became McDonald’s, the biggest name in Fast Food.

Sam Walton came home from serving his country with little to his name. He had a dream with no funding and out of borrowed money from family members started Walton’s 5 and 10 store. His education was not strong and his funding was next to non existent, and everything in his life was risked on a dream. He worked hard and treated people right, never making an excuse or running from a challenge and thus Wal-Mart, the ultimate small business has become the new standard beared in speeches about evil rich and big business enemies. Instead of being the small business owners aspiration it is touted as the enemy but is a pure example of what today’s small business can become.

But again it’s easier to take from them, to penalize them for their success than it is to work hard and live your own version of the dream. Many Wal-Mart and McDonalds Executives have earned millions. A majority of all Wal-Mart managers and executives started as clerks and cashiers, loaders, and stock clerks. They had little education and got support in getting one, and had few job skills, and were trained by the company to the point they became true assets to it’s growth and success. They had dreams and this so called evil corporate giant helped them live them and helped them join the ranks of the Evil Rich.

Affirmative Action: Here we go, and before you call me a racist please read this as many of my minority friends, some like family to me have.

Affirmative action is held in high regard by the DNC. It was a plan they drafted to pull in minority voters who had recently been given a right to vote. It was a promise to force doors open in corporate America and at the time in American history it served us well. In modern ages though it is becoming a hold back instead of a path in as any upper level minority leader can tell you from personal experience.

Fact: If two people, one latino and one white take the same test, the white person scored higher and the latino person gets the job to meet the companies diversity quota, then two things happen. The other managers aware of the hiring process will never see the latino as an equal because they know why they were promoted, they know that the better qualified candidate was passed up because they were the wrong skin color to meet a demographic. They will forever know that you did not earn your promotion and you will have to battle ten times harder to prove your worth.

The other thing that happens is that the person failing to get the job will know they were passed up for the same reasons. They will go an talk about it with coworkers and team mates, and will not respect you for taking a job that was rightfully theirs. This will make it harder for you to earn the respect of the people that work for you, thus making it harder to propose changes and new rules without oposition. Many may even seek to help you fail because again you did not earn the job in their eyes. This breeds hate and is nothing more than counter racism. Now instead of minorities being denied jobs because of race it is whites who suffer, a shift not equality.

This become more apparent when you look at organizations like the NAACP, and the United Negro College Fund or seek out any of the all black colleges in America. Many whites and hsipanics resent these organizations so heavily because they are in direct violation of what’s right and ethical. Why is it that if these organizations where called the National Association for the Advancement of White People of the United White People’s College Fund they would be rasist or Nazi organizations. The All White Schools have been segragated for decades but not so with the all African American or Black Colleges. This is rasism in the worst extent, it is government supported and taught as a form of equalization, but in fact it is nothing more than a reverse of the same rasim that sparked events like the march in Selma.

Dr. Martin Luther King”s dream was one of all people living hand in hand and as equals, with respect for each other, not a day when it was considered wrong to be white, or good to be black but a day when we all can be proud to call ourselves Americans. We must strive to know down all double standards and fight against counter rasism just as we fought against racism to begin with if equal rights for all are to ever be a reality.

Today enough minority business owners exist to provide a hand up, they are proud and strong, and wise leaders who can relate to challenges and help others find success. Minorities in business run a good shop, and have every skill needed to compete world wide in a global economy that favors them. Affirmative action is not needed. UNCF is not needed as the law states that scholarships may not take race or ethnic background into consideration when funding the education of students. By law this organization is one of criminals, and not a foundation of equal rights, it is a double standard that irls many and continues the legacy of hate.

Womens rights and the feminist movement: Never more than present times has it become more apparent that the DNC stance as pro women was a mere ploy to garner these feminist votes and not an earnist fight on your behalf. They are having their front men out on every show, and many feminist as well touting that because Sarah Palin does not support Abortion she somehow does not support women. They even called her Man Like in thinking and wrong for feminist.

Was it not the goal of the feminist movement to allow equal access for women? When did being pro woman ever mean you had to be pro choice? Yet they turn their backs because she is a concervatiove and not a liberal, because she is pro gun and make comments like she should stay home and take care of her special needs child.

Did they say Joe Biden should stop leaving his 2 kids with sitters and nannies instead of being in Washington? Heck even the Good Ol Boys like Rush Limbaugh of the RNC have embraced Sarah Palin. More has been done in the last couple weeks in picking such a strong and independent woman for the VP slot than has been seen in a very long time, and never in the Republican Party, yet it is the so called fighters that are trying to say that because she is strong enough to choose to be a member of the NRA, and choose to have a career, and choose to be pro life, that somehow she has become less of a woman.

Don’t know about you but that reeks of double standard and for many of the feminist amidst the movement it takes direct shots at them. Not all strong women are pro choice, many are Christians and follow the bible on the subject. Many are not anti gun and are among millions of proud female hunters. They are Democrats and Independents as well as Republicans and this attacks their freedom of choice making a clear statement that the DNC is only Pro Woman if that Woman is a party line Democrat who does not balk their official stance in any way. You have to be just free enough to give them your vote and not free enough to vote against them on any issues, otherwise you are not a woman, you are Man Like.

Folks, I will continue this post on the double standards and hold you back policies of the People’s Party over the next few weeks. These stances which have been highlighted so strongly in this election are starting to fray the DNC at it’s base. This party is crumbling from it’s own Hypocracy and put that on display with their reaction to both the Aging John McCain, remember they support the retired people and the elderly, and the young and vibrant Sarah Palin, who is the embodiment of the feminist ideal who has been attacked for being free but having her own mind and oppinions. This is the real news and not a pregnant 17 year old.

The party of the people has been dividing people for more than 100 years and providing excuses for failure, instead of tools for success. We will expose them, we will highlight them, and show you the meaning of true unity and equality.

Real or make believe politics and economy?

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

What Obama needs to remember is that most of the earmark days that have been claimed and not yet proven, were said to happen when she was still a fairly new Mayor and time and education can and should make you wiser. Her recent record, especially as Governor of Alaska has been one of the mantra touted. See, unlike the billion dollar earmarks, a million dollars per working day Obama has secured, she has proven the experience and ability to learn from her mistakes. Has he?

Obama has built his whole campaign around touting McCain’s support of the so called Tax Cuts for the Rich, called that only because of the trickle up of the poor and middle class spending money they would not have had if he were President.

Obama’s answer is a tax hike for the poor. Called that because of the trickle down impact of raising taxes to the tune he has promised. It becomes a tax increase for the poor because business owners will absorb the added cost of higher taxes like all expenses by raising prices and lower cost of production including cutting jobs.

He calls us idiots if we disagree but the facts and economist are on our side. He says we think you are fools, but it is he who thinks you can’t see the righting on the wall and the truth on the economy.

They paint a picture of recession and economic downturn so bleak. Fact is that his pal Foreign Oil Dependency is the primary cause of our troubles. We are paying more and getting less because cost are huge for shipping and transportation and a huge bill at the gas pump. Tax cuts and rebates can not possibly result in higher cost. He calls us the fools.

Had Obama and the Democrats in congress supported drilling, CNG Exploration, and additional funding in alternatives fuels, then we would be less dependent and our cost of living would be much lower. But they use terms like inflation and Gross Domestic Product that many Americans don’t understand to confuse you into buying in to their tax and spend economic package.

Fact is the do little and the do nothings in the Democratic Congress have taken no action and promised everything. John McCain has done a lot and promised even more to come. He has a track record of fighting through important legislation, many of the bills he authored. Obama has authored nothing important, not for minorities, and not for America as a whole, he only promises to finally do something if he is elected.

That’s extortion, if I am elected I will do this and do that despite the fact I have done nothing before now. John McCain has done and will continue doing what he does best.

Also, who buys the Obama camps claims on Sarah Palin’s experience. They say Obama has more and compare only to Palin’s actions as a Mayor in a small town, a 10 year job with good results that powered her to the GOVERNOR’s OFFICE. A fact they fail to mention as the truth hurts. They promise change and a future while focusing only on the past, and can’t back any of it up with results because they haven’t done anything to get results. They push foreign policy experience by touting credentials of a man who has been wrong on every major foreign policy move for the last 3 and a half decades, that’s 35 years of experience and he still hasn’t learned a thing about foreign policy.

Instead they let their shadow core attack a woman for being a working mom who works for you. For having learned from mistakes, and for being strong and well spoken, for having a American family with American values, and all American issues to deal with every day. They try to pretend to be one of us while making more than most of us and never walking in our shoes.

They argue that they can create jobs by hurting businesses. They say taking money out of the economy and putting it into government will make the economy stronger when it is in fact government that is the only thing that will be stronger. They vote with their party 97% of the time but say they are the one’s that can bring change and reform? When are you going to start, John McCain began changing Washington decades ago. He began working with both sides for real solutions decades ago, long before there even was a George Bush to agree with. They also forget that on many of these issues it was not McCain agreeing with GW, but GW agreeing with John McCain. On the surge, John was the champion, on Russia, John was the one that got it right. On reduction of government and campaign reform John was a leader, and when it comes to standing toe to toe with the President, John McCain did it in Congress, Barack Obama did it on CNN.

Still we here when challenged that echo of race being an issue. Race is only an issue if you are looking for an excuse for failure. Stop looking for excuses and actually do something. Live out even on of those promises Barack, put it in a bill over the next 58 days and get it passed, then I might consider letting up a bit. Then you might have some experience worth touting, but as it stand you are a bag of air full of ideological dreams, and ambition, but no action to prove your resolve.

You talk of Palin as if her family means she shouldn’t be here, well Daddy’s there to help and doing a fine job I might add. When Joe’s family needed him did he just stay home and fold? Nope you talk of the train rides pushing him as a hero, a single dad who stayed true to his dreams. Sarah Palin is a proud mom living hers. You say you are not responsible, and that families are off limits, yet that was one time, back when, and you have not stopped handing tens of millions to the networks carrying the stories to show your commercials while those stories run. You may not openly support these actions but your actions do not support your words.

Again, a empty bag of air. No real mission beyond getting elected, no track record of results or action, just a promise of what you can and will do but have never done or proven you can do. John McCain has and that’s what makes him ready to lead. Sarah Palin has, and that’s what makes her ready to lead.

Serving a cause greater than yourself.

Friday, September 5th, 2008

Hi folks,

As I have mentioned a time or twenty, I was the youngest council member in Arizona history when I first met John McCain. The only U.S. Senator from either side of the drawn out party lines that ever cared enough to spend a day in small tow Quartzsite AZ. Population 2005.

There was little in the way of a press corps there that day, a couple local papers had a brief photo op and around 40 locals turned out to ask and get questions answered by this amazingly striking man of men. I call him that because John seemed comfortable and spoke with us as if he had lived there all his life. He didn’t have a huge following of servants and aids as I had seen many times in Pheonix. He was John, didn’t care for us calling him Senator McCain.

Later we got to talk one on one before he left. I thanked him for accepting my invite on the first asking and told him I was surprised when I got his aids call and follow up letter to set up the event. He said “How could I refuse?” and the conversation went on about the needs and goals of our community and the advice he gave really helped. I was practically floored when he said ” Young people like you seeking office are my hero’s. It is in awe as I watch so many young leaders these day stepping out with a firm understanding of what it means to serve a cause greater than yourself.” yep he said it and it has stuck with me all these years.

Tonight I teared up at his speech when I heard those words again, in his acceptance speech. My friend in Washington, the proud service man was back and in a big way. He took on the bad of the party and brought new hope. He etched a landscape of change, prosperity, and American pride like i have prayed for in our modern world for years.

Tomorrow the DNC and the left wing media will pick it apart and try to find some evil in all it’s goodness, but tonight we saw the real John S. McCain. A proud and servant American hero, a maverick of change, a reformer attacking the very people who tried to pull him more to the right of center first before sharing his vision of a new tomorrow.

He laid out plans for working with all sides and all views and leading through strength, honor, and commitment to the American people. He spoke of inclusion and a vision for a party of many colors and where all are viewed as equals, and all serve a cause greater than self. My friend John spoke to us as equals and spoke with a wisdom and grace about him.

Tomorrow when you read the news and watch the analist, called them that for a reason tear the speech apart and add twist and turns, slants and angles please do me a favor. Look into the eyes of John mcCain and see the honesty and hope in those eyes. Look at the humbled and almost unworthy look when the crowd cheered and chanted his name. Listen to the pride and integrity in his voice, and feel the sorrow in his heart as he speaks of his proud friends who didn’t come home from Vietnam.

This is a man I can respect, a leader I will follow, and the greatest person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Forget the media slant, and all the DNC hype and listen to your heart. Let your American Pride flow and stand with me. I was a proud supporter of John McCain even before the speech, but I will say this now I have missed this John McCain, the John McCain that made a brief stop in a small town and left a big impressions. A man that when I look back on my own life and compare myself to I feel small and weak, but a man who’s catching spirit, and All American Pride lifts me up from that feeling and makes me look forward to a day when again I can serve a cause greater than myself.

Thank you John, and I will be proud to salute you as our next American President. Pride and integrity are back in a big way. God Bless America!!!
